Nitrite (NO2) is produced from the breakdown of ammonia in the filter. Nitrite is highly toxic to fish, but is usually removed from the water by the bacteria which live inside the filter. However, in new ponds and aquariums, or if the filter bacteria are damaged, the nitrite level may become toxic. Please note: To be used Reagent for: eXact iDip (0.25 – 32 ppm fresh water; 4 – 100 ppm marine water); with eXact iDip 570 (3 – 200 ppm fresh water; 3 – 100 ppm marine water) and eXact Micro 20 W/ Bluetooth (0.1 – 45 ppm).

Please note:
It is strongly advised that you do not add salt directly into the water in large amounts. This may burn the koi. Also check the salinity levels of the water regularly as it can be affected by wet or dry weather conditions.
