Kusuri Fluke M
Kusuri Fluke M is a 50mg/g Flubendazole medication used to eradicate Gill and Body Flukes. This treatment is safe to use without destroying your filter bacteria. It can be used at any temperature. While dosing with Fluke M you can continue to feed. If the mucus layer is excessive, we advise dosing with Chloramine T at 15g per 1000 gallons, 24 hours before using Fluke M, this will assist in reducing the mucus membrane where body flukes can sometimes get trapped.
Caution: Please check your pH and KH prior to using. Chloramine T can be very toxic in soft water. If your pH is below pH7 (acid) and has a general hardness below 6°dH (soft water) reduce the dose by 75%. Do not use with salt. This product is designed as a one off treatment, but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestation. Alternatively you can use Kusuri Fluke P or Kusuri Fluke S after 7 days.
WARNING: USING KUSURI ACRIFLAVINE 1.5% & MALACHITE GREEN 0.7% WITHIN A ONE MONTH PERIOD OF USING A FLUBENDAZOLE (FLUKE M) OR PRAZIQUANTEL BASED PRODUCT (FLUKE S or FLUKE P), CAN CAUSE FISH FATALITIES.
Dosage Instructions
- Dosage: 11.8g per 1000 gallons (4546 Litres) of pond water.
- Check water temperature before use. For best results use above 12°C.
- Below 12°C parasites become dormant. Be aware of day to evening temperature fluctuations.
- Kusuri Fluke M stays active in the water for a total of 7 days.
How To Use
Shake contents of the sachet well. Measure out the correct dose for pond and dissolve in a container with boiling water. Stir and allow the mixture to cool before adding slowly to the return of the pond over a 1 hour period. It is recommended that you turn off the UV. Fluke M is safe to use with salt.

Kusuri Fluke M is not an invasive, toxic medication like Malachite Green and Formalin 30%. The Flubendazole is absorbed by the flukes and dissolves their digestive tract that subsequently starves the parasite. Fluke M may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestations. Kusuri recommend a mucus scrape and microscope identification prior to a second application.
Fluke M is safe to use with all cold water ornamental fish only. Do not use Fluke M with topical fish, including Sting Rays.
Fluke M should be used within three months of opening. Fluke M can also be used for the eradication of pond snails, Intestinal Helminths and Worms. For eradicating Lice, Anchor Worm and Argulus, use 3 doses of Fluke M 7 days apart. For best results use above 12°C.
Health And Safety
Store in original container between 12°C and 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. For animal pond water treatment only. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling chemicals. Use within 3 months of opening. Do not use in conjunction with any other medication.
