Kusuri Wheatgerm Koi Food has been especially formulated, now with increased garlic and wheatflour free, to aid digestibility.

Kusuri Wheatgerm Koi Food formula contains the high nutrient ingredients included in the Kusuri Premium Koi food formula, such as krill, kelp, garlic, propolis and optimum. Wheatgerm feeds can of course be fed at any time, but are particularly popular during autumn, winter and early spring periods when pond water temperatures are low and a reduced feeding protocol is usually adopted. With this in mind, Kusuri Wheatgerm koi food has been deliberately developed to include a very high level of vitamins, minerals and other direct medicinal inclusions. Kusuri Premium Koi Food again fills a requirement we feel, for a very high quality Koi food manufactured on a fresh regular basis in the UK. Kusuri Premium Koi Food is a food sensibly priced which has just about everything beneficial included in a cyprinid diet, a spectrum of beneficial ingredients unsurpassed by any other food made anywhere in the world. Kusuri Premium Koi Food is made exclusively to our own researched formulation, we do not use any chemical colour enhancers or substitute proteins.

Koi have quite strict requirements for lipids, fibre, minerals, vitamins and protein. Some ingredients will supply essential lipids, fibre, minerals, vitamins and amino acids, but alone, lack the required levels that are needed for Koi.

In fact, the presence of certain excess Amino acids can have detrimental effects on the rate of growth. For example, high levels of Isoleucine are known to reduce the growth rate on carp. Kusuri Premium Koi Food has been formulated to provide the correct balance of all the major requirements for Koi. Additionally this is the only food available with Kusuri Klay included – research proven for better growth, colour, and aiding the prevention of stress protein production.

Included within Kusuri Premium Koi Food are the immune and health enhancing properties of propolis, garlic and brewers yeast. Wheat flour is a major carbohydrate constituent in many pelleted foods, and is almost impossible for the Koi to digest. Kusuri Multiseason Koi Food has been specifically formulated to remove all wheat flour, allowing greater pellet digestibility at various temperatures.

Kusuri Multiseason Koi Food has been formulated specifically for Northern Hemisphere temperatures so it can be fed conveniently as a pellet food, without any residue on pond water.

Kusuri Multiseason Koi Food contains Kusuri Klay, Propolis, “Optimum” health enhancer and pre-biotics, Multiseason is a very special recipe acknowledged as having the ultimate ingredients for feeding to produce excellent growth and colour improvements in Koi.
