Microbe-Lift Sludge Away has been years in development, it speeds up the biological removal of slow to degrade organic waste matter from aquatic pond bottoms that may become toxic to fish and plant life. As organic solids accumulate on the pond bottom they begin to break down, releasing toxic gases to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish,marine life and plants.

Microbe-Lift Sludge Away removes bottom organic sludge and dirt, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds, and helps to clarify your pond water at the same time. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away is especially helpful for ponds that have a rock or gravel bottom and where vacuuming is impractical. Microbe-Lift Sludge Away works faster at warm water temperatures, but can be used effectively at any temperature all year-round.

Recommended Dosages:

100 ml per 1250 litres of pond water. The first application should be 100 ml per 1250 litres of pond water, then repeat this dosage once a week for the next four weeks. Following this initial treatment a ‘maintenance dosage should be applied at the recommended rates as and when necessary.

Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria

Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria has been specially formulated for all biological (bead filters). Like most types of mechanical/biological filters, bead filters rely on the use of a media that provides a high surface area/volume ratio. This allows for the support of the necessary biomas, in the form of a biofilm, to properly remove organic and inorganic waste from the water.

Within this biofilm it is possible to to carry out aerobic, facultative anerobic, anaerobic and chemosynthetic processes. In english, this actually means that we develop and grow various forms of bateria on our filter media which will result in the complete nitrifaction process and also develop the biomas which totally covers the bead media and becomes sticky, it is this sticky biomas that traps the small particles as part of the normal filtration process which results in clear clean water.

Microbe-Lift Super Start contains all these bacteria capable of carrying out all of the necessary processes for the optimum performance of bead filters.

Microbe-Lift Phosphate removeris the ultimate remedy for the removal of phosphates in fresh water.

Use Microbe-Lift Phosphate remover for starting new ponds which ensures low phosphate concentrations and mature ponds to ensure that the phosephate concentrations are kept at a minimum. To clear the pond’s water of phosphates sucessfully it is necessary to Use Phosphate remover regularly in both new and existing ponds.

Microbe-Lift Phosphate remover is a polymeric blend with outstanding qualities, including the ability to tie-up large quantities of phosphate without negatively influencing the pond water in any way.

Phosphate is caused by the decomposition of organic substances such as food surpluses, dead plant matter, and excretion. Although Phosphate is a vital part, it is only not detremental in low concentrations, however a phosphate increase could lead to water problems. To solve problems caused by Phosphate, it is recommended to keep the phosphate concentration in fresh water below 0.3ml/ltr.

Microbe-Lift Phosphate Remover Application:

Use 30ml of Microbe-Lift Phosphate Remover per 400 ltrs of pond water. Depending on the amount of organic/ fish waste , 30ml of phosphate remover can remove between 1 and 1.5mg per litre of phosphate. The dose can be repeated if the phosphate level is still too high, and sometime multiple treatement smay be necessary if ther eis a very high level of phophate present
