NT Labs Flukasol 500 ml
Flukasol is an easy-to-use, liquid suspension of flubendazole, which targets skin and gill flukes. When fish show signs of a fluke infestation, including flicking, gasping, excessive mucus or lethargy, preferably after confirmation of your diagnosis by microscopy.
Dosage Rates:
- 10ml treats up to 80 gallons (364 litres)
- 500ml treats up to 4,000 gallons (18,200 litres)
How to Use:
- Test Your Water Quality:
- Utilize NT Labs Test Kits to assess the water quality accurately.
- Shake Well:
- Before use, shake the Flukasol bottle well to ensure proper mixing.
- Mix the Dosage:
- Measure the appropriate dosage and mix it in a clean bucket of pond water.
- Even Distribution:
- Pour the mixed solution evenly over the surface of the pond.
- Treatment Duration:
- Leave the treatment in the pond for 7 days.
- Switch Off UV Filtration:
- Disable UV filtration for the entire 7-day treatment period.
- Aerate the Pond:
- Ensure proper aeration of the pond during the treatment.
- Repeat Dose Consideration:
- If a repeat dose seems necessary, perform a careful diagnosis using microscopic examination and the Diagnosis Tool. Consider using a different medication if needed.
- Post-Treatment:
- Allow a 7-day interval after medicating before performing a partial water change or re-treating with another medication.
- Observation:
- Always conduct treatment when you have sufficient time to observe fish and take necessary action in the rare event of a bad reaction.
Warning:
- Do not use Flukasol at water temperatures above 30°C.
- Avoid use in hot, humid, or thundery weather.
- Do not mix Flukasol with other medications.
