Compact high-performance filter with intelligent controller system

Through the combination of two filter stages, the compact all-in-one filter unit ensures crystal clear water, even in large ponds. Mechanical separation of particles and suspended matter down to 150 micrometres occurs instage 1 via the proven drum filter technology. In stage 2 the water is biologically cleaned via highly effective filter sponges.

A 4-bar cleaning pump cleans the filter drum automatically as needed; the water temperature can be seen out on the control unit. Moreover, the BioTec Premium can be flexibly extended through additional modules of the ProfiClear Classic series. Ideal for garden ponds up to 80 m³, fish ponds up to 40 m³ and koi ponds up to 20 m³.

Compact high-performance filter with intelligent controller system

Through the combination of two filter stages, the compact all-in-one filter unit ensures crystal clear water, even in large ponds. Mechanical separation of particles and suspended matter down to 150 micrometres occurs instage 1 via the proven drum filter technology. In stage 2 the water is biologically cleaned via highly effective filter sponges.

A 4-bar cleaning pump cleans the filter drum automatically as needed; the water temperature can be seen out on the control unit. Moreover, the BioTec Premium can be flexibly extended through additional modules of the ProfiClear Classic series. Ideal for garden ponds up to 80 m³, fish ponds up to 40 m³ and koi ponds up to 20 m³.

The automated Drum Module has been oversized to remove particles and pollutants even in highly sedimented ponds. The XL Drum module is offered in both pump fed and gravity fed guises.

The Gravity Fed XL Filter Drum features 7 inlets for connection of up to 2 x Bitron Premium UVCs, Wall Skimmers or Bottom Drains. The 2 x 180mm outlets are designed for direct connection to the XL Moving Bed Module and/or Gravity Discharge Module. The Gravity XL Drum Filter Module is supplied with intelligent filter-mounted controller for automatic cleaning of the 16 individual drum filter sieves. The filter sieves will screen out debris down to 60 microns but can be changed to optional 30 micron or 150 micron sieves depending on the level of filtration required. The ProfiClear Gravity Fed XL Drum Filter can accept flow rates from 25,000 Litres/Hour up to 66,000 Litres/Hour.

The new ProfiClear XL Pumped Discharge Module has been designed to provide multiple return points of the processed water in a pump-fed, gravity return scenario.  The Pumped Discharge Module features 5 x DN110 return outlets to maximise the processed water flow back to the pond.

The XL Discharge module is the final stage of the ProfiClear XL filter system, connecting after the XL Moving Bed Module via 2 x 180mm inlets. Internally, the pump-fed discharge module features a specially developed fixed bed ‘Clear Wave’ biological segment which will drastically reduce biofilm via anaerobic bacterial breakdown.
