The new ProfiClear XL Pumped Discharge Module has been designed to provide multiple return points of the processed water in a pump-fed, gravity return scenario.  The Pumped Discharge Module features 5 x DN110 return outlets to maximise the processed water flow back to the pond.

The XL Discharge module is the final stage of the ProfiClear XL filter system, connecting after the XL Moving Bed Module via 2 x 180mm inlets. Internally, the pump-fed discharge module features a specially developed fixed bed ‘Clear Wave’ biological segment which will drastically reduce biofilm via anaerobic bacterial breakdown.

Compact high-performance filter with intelligent controller system

Through the combination of two filter stages, the compact all-in-one filter unit ensures crystal clear water, even in large ponds. In stage 2 the water is biologically cleaned via highly effective filter sponges.

This new compact drum filter of the ProfiClear Premium series is the inexpensive alternative for small to medium-sized bodies of water. The compact modular filter system is ideal for koi ponds up to 30 m³ in particular. Leading koi experts were consulted in developing the range. In the pumped principle, the maximum water flow through the filter is 20,000 litres per hour. With this completely self-cleaning drum filter unit, the moving bed system ensures optimal water movement and cleaning. Professional Hel-X bio-media effectively break down nutrients and pollutants in the water. A depth filtration of up to 60 microns and a new Hel-X 13 filter medium with a significantly larger surface ensure the high separation efficiency.

The new ProfiClear XL Gravity Discharge Module has been designed to house pumps and UV clarifiers at the final stage of the gravity fed filtration scenario whilst supplying multiple outlets to return the processed water back to the pond.

The XL Gravity Discharge Module features 9 outlets (4 x 2” BSPM Threaded and 5 x DN110) for returning the water flow with minimal restriction and allowing a choice of either flexible hose return or rigid pipe. The internals of the module are specifically designed for mounting the AquaMax Eco Titanium pumps and the new Bitron Premium UV Clarifiers.

Based on the highly successful OASE ProfiClear Premium L Drum Filter technology, the new ProfiClear XL pond filter system can be used to filter ponds up to 530,000 Litres (or 100,000 Litre Koi Ponds). The automated Drum Module has been oversized to remove particles and pollutants even in highly sedimented ponds. The XL Drum module is offered in both pump fed and gravity fed guises.

The Pump Fed XL Filter Drum features 5 water inlets for connection to submersed AquaMax Eco Expert pumps and the new Bitron Premium Ultraviolet Clarifiers. The Pump Fed XL Drum Filter Module is supplied with intelligent filter-mounted controller for automatic cleaning of the 16 individual drum filter sieves. The filter sieves will screen out debris down to 60 microns but can be changed to optional 30 micron or 150 micron sieves depending on the level of filtration required. The Pump Fed XL drum filter can accept flow rates from 25,000 Litres/Hour up to 50,000 Litres/Hour.

ProfiClear Premium Fleece Filters are therefore equipped with the triple action combination of microfine depth filtration, rich filter biology and Clear Wave blocks.
