Pond Medic Plus Anti-Foam

Pond Medic + Anti Foam is an effective anti foaming agent that is harmless to plants and pond life.

Kockney Koi  Pond Medic + Anti Foam is an easy way to stop and prevent unsightly foaming on the surface of ponds.

Anti Foam may be used at any time during the year but especially in the spring and summer months.

This product is harmless to all pond life if used correctly.

Directions:

Add 10ml per 682 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided.

This dose may be repeated after one hour.

Pour gently over the surface of the pond.

Do not repeat more than 5 times in any one week.

Note:

  • For best results add Anti Foam around pump area to ensure even distribution.
  • Anti Foam can be used regularly but should not be over used.
  • Excessive repeated foaming may be due to the nature and type of the pump outlet.
  • Important Calculate your pond volume accurately.
  • To calculate your pond volume: Length x Width x Depth x 6 = Gallonage (all measurements are in feet).
  • Monitor your fish during all treatments.
  • Aeration is essential during treatment.
  • If necessary, use an additional air pump.
  • Filtration should be maintained at all times.

Pond Medic Plus Fluke Off

Pond Medic Plus Fluke Off is an effective treatment against skin, gill flukes and intestinal helminths. For Koi Carp or coldwater ornamental fish. Always ensure correct diagnosis for flukes by taking a scrape before treatment. Fluke Off is best used above 10°C.

Directions:

Switch off UV Steriliser, carbon filter and protein skimmer and aerate the pond until treatment has been completed, for a minimum of 7 days.

Fluke Off will not destroy friendly bacteria, you can continue feeding during treatment. Tighten cap, shake and mix well. Measure the correct dose. Using a clean watering can filled with pond water add the Fluke Off using the measuring cup to get the correct dose.  Slowly add to the return of the pond over a 1 hour period, this will prevent shocking the pond.

Do not use in conjunction with any other treatment

Dosage:

  • 250 ml treats – 9,092 – 2000 Gallons
  • 500 ml treats – 18,184 – 4000 Gallons
  • Add 10ml per 364 Litres (80 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. 
  • Can Repeat  – 7  days later upto max of 4 doses.

Pond Medic Formalin

Pond Medic Formalin is an effective treatment against many parasites such as Whitespot, Flukes, Ciliates and Flagellates.

Directions:

For water temperature of up to 14 Degrees C add 10ml per 1000 Litres (200 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat this dose 10 days later. For water temperatures above 14 Degrees C add 10ml per 500 Litres (100 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat this dose 8 days later.

Dosage:

  • 250 ml treats – 5000 Gallons
  • 500 ml treats – 10.000 Gallons
  • 1ltr Treats – 20,000 Gallons.

Note:

Do not use below 10 Degrees C if salt is present in the pond. Always mix in a suitable container with some pond water and distribute evenly around the pond. For severe cases use as a dip at the rate of 1ml per 5 Litres for up to 30 minutes maximum, followed 48 hours later by a standard treatment.

Pond Medic Acriflavine is an effective treatment against aquatic bacterial infections, such as Flagellates, Fungi, Protozoa and some viruses e.g. carp pox.

Pond Medic Bactacide is an effective treatment against many aquatic bacterial infections. Very effective against ulcers, frayed fins, sores and fungus.

Directions
Add 10ml per 750 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat this dose weekly for 3 weeks. Use as a short term dip at a rate of 10ml per 10 gallons for no more than 30 minutes. Severe infections like ulcers may be swabbed with neat solution.

Note
