The ideal solution for e.g. swimming ponds! Due to the strong rim there is a low risk when someone stands on top of the lid. The weight is distributed along the ring that rests on the bottom of a standard bottom drain. Very easy to insert/remove (for maintenance) with a koi net handle. Material: PE & stainless steel. We find most filter bays are within a 3,6 or 9 meter distance from the bottom drain location so we have grouped together all the products that you require to install a bottom drain effectively without the headache. You can choose from either 1, 2 or 3 lengths of the required pipework to enable you to achieve most drainage Requirements. Should any further pipe work or fittings be required they can also be added via the pipework section on the website.

Spindrifter Aerated Drain lid
The Spindrifter Aerated Drain lid replaces the standard dome on your 4″ bottom drain. The unit has a wide diameter rubber insert with thousands of tiny holes to allow the air flow to come out.
The air line supply can either be inserted inside the length of the bottom drain pipe – coming out at a convenient place near to where your Air pump will be situated, or it can, be simply run across the base of the pond to your Air pump.

4 Inch Socket To 110mm Plain Male Converter
The 4 Inch Socket To 110mm Plain Male Converter is designed to fit inside a bottom drain to convert the standard 4″ opening to 110mm.

These Economy Bottom Drains With Ring Aerator are well made and are suited for use with 110mm or 50mm waste pipe. The dome is removable with a large integral surface mounted air ring diffuser around the outer edge
We cannot express the importance of installing a bottom drain when planning and building your pond and these drains provide a cost effective way of doing this.
