The Evolution Aqua Pure Pond bacteria gell balls are made from a biodegradable polymer, and crammed full of bacteria that are slowly released when they are needed most.

When you introduce the Evolution Aqua Pure Pond bacteria gel balls into the biological chamber of your Nexus, they become one with moving bed, agitating alongside the K1 media, just waiting to smooth out the peaks and troughs of the Ammonia/Nitrite cycle.

Evolution Aqua Pure Pond are biodegradable balls, crammed full of live bacteria that are slowly released when they are needed most. With over 8,000,000,000 bacteria per litre, your pond will shine even more than normal, especially if you add them monthly into the Kaldnes Moving bed, or into any other type of filter you may have.

  • This is a two-dose treatment, the pond should be treated again three days later at roughly the same time.
  • If necessary, it is safe to repeat the course of treatment 7 days after the last dose is finished, following a 20% water change.
  • Check all water quality parameters as poor water quality is often a cause of illness.

NOTE: Do not dose during stormy or humid weather. Always aerate the pond well throughout treatment. Allow time to observe fish after dosing in case of the unlikely event of an adverse reaction. Two step dosing – Kinder to fish

EA Medications have a powerful and effective two step dosing process that makes them kinder to fish whilst giving a high active dose rate. This means the fish have time to acclimatise to the treatment from day 1 to 3, with an additional dose added on day 4, rather than being exposed to an aggressive treatment from the off. Some parts of illness lifecycles cannot be killed so active ingredients need to be high for a longer period to attack these parts when the vulnerable part comes around. White spot is a great example of this. STOP Blanketweed is an effective treatment of filamentous algae, commonly known as blanket weed in ornamental and garden ponds. Blanket weed is one of the most hated problems of pond keeping and a nuisance to everyone as it makes your pond unsightly, blocks filters, pumps and pipes. Dosage Instructions

• Apply 30 grams (one scoop) of powder per 900 litres / 198 gallons of water.

• Mix the powder thoroughly with pond water in a suitable clean container.

• Now distribute this mixture evenly over the pond surface.

• Add this dose once per week until the blanket weed has gone, usually after 3 weeks.

• One or two additional doses may be needed in some ponds.

• Continue to dose once a month to prevent the blanket weed returning.

• If water temperature is below 8°C, treatment efficiency is reduced.
