Kockney Koi Platinum 14000 Filter
The Kockney Koi Platinum 14,000 Filter is a robust, multi-stage filtration unit designed to keep your pond water clean, clear, and healthy. Ideal for koi ponds and medium-sized garden ponds, this filter combines durability with powerful mechanical and biological filtration—without the complexity. The Fibreglass filter from Kockney Koi is Suitable for goldfish ponds to 14000 litres with 420 inches of goldfish or a 7000 litre koi pond with 112 inches of koi. The total surface area of the media included is greater than 41m2. This creates a substantially greater internal area for bio-mass to thrive. Kintama has double the surface area of most fluid bed medias.
Kit Includes:
- 3 pieces of corrugated foam media in three different grades (coarse, medium, fine) for progressive mechanical filtration and bacterial colonisation
- A sheet of filter wadding for fine water polishing
- A sheet of activated carbon to help remove impurities, odours, and discoloration
- A sheet of Blue Matting, offering additional surface area for filtration
- A generous volume of Kintama Black filter media, delivering 2.33 m² of surface area per litre for exceptional internal and external bacterial growth
- A debris collector bag for simplified maintenance
- Filter starter bacteria to kickstart biological activity from day one
- UV clarifier compatibility for even clearer, algae-free water should you wish to add the optional UV to the system
Pump requirements:
5000 lph to a max flow rate 12000 litres per hour.
Can be used with 15w or 25w UV
