The Kockney Koi AquaPonic filter system uses the fish waste in the water to feed to plant roots before filtering through and returning back to the pond via a blade waterfall after a through filtration process.
Water is pumped to the filter unit from the pond and feeds up to the top tray where there is 11 planting baskets with hessian sheets provided, water overflows from the tray into the base of the filter unit where it is filtered through 4 sheets of foam, a layer of blue matting before going through a stage of our Kintima Black bio media and the returns via the units blade water feature giving a waterfall effect back into the pond.
The unit is suitable for ponds of up to maximum 8,300 litres and a maximum flow rate of 4,150 litres per hour, however to get the best results from this filter we would recommend a pond size of 5,500 with a flow rate of 2,750 per hour. Read more

The KF10000V is a high quality, free-standing, fibreglass, four bay, filter with integral vortex designed to improve your fish’s environment. Its “state-of-the art” multi chamber ensures maximum filtration with the minimum of maintenance. The unit is suitable for fish ponds of up to 10,000 litres and a maximum flow rate of 6,000 litres ph. However, with lighter stocking densities or in fish free ponds the KF10000 will comfortably cope with larger volumes. However, with lighter stocking densities or in fish free ponds the KF8000 will comfortably cope with much larger volumes. Complete with multi spray bar (pump fed), filter brushes, Japanese matting and flocor. Its clever design enables it to fit through a standard 30″ domestic door opening (if required) so it can be transported through the house for those properties where there is no side or rear access.
