The Oase Filtoclear Replacement Bulbs are a PLL bulb with 4 Pins and are available for the 4 different types of Filtoclear. Since the UVC clarifier is mostly in constant use, the effect can wear off after approx. 8000 hours. It is therefore recommended that the lamps be replaced at regular intervals. It is best to think about this in spring so that your clarifier is ready for the whole pond season.

The ultraviolet lamp will remain independent of the flow of water. Evolution Aqua Quartz Sleeves are of open-ended construction and are made from pure fused quartz.
Quartz is extremely transparent over a wide spectral range, with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and quartz is resistant to scratching and thermal shock. Fused quartz is made from crushing and melting natural materials. The purity of quartz is paramount to the efficiency of the lamp and sleeve.
