Kockney Koi Platinum 8000 Filter
The Kockney Koi Platinum 8,000 Filter is the perfect choice for smaller koi ponds and garden ponds where space is limited but high-quality filtration is still essential. Compact yet powerful, this filter delivers effective mechanical and biological filtration to keep your pond water clean and your fish healthy. The Fibreglass filter from Kockney Koi is Suitable for goldfish ponds to 8000 litres with 300 inches of goldfish or a 5000 litre koi pond with 75 inches of koi. The total surface area of the media included is greater than 20m2. This creates a substantially greater internal area for bio-mass to thrive. Kintama has double the surface area of most fluid bed medias.
Kit Includes:
- 3 pieces of corrugated foam media in three different grades (coarse, medium, fine) to capture debris and support beneficial bacteria growth
- A sheet of filter wadding for polishing and fine particle removal
- A sheet of activated carbon to reduce odours, discoloration, and impurities
- A sheet of Blue Matting to enhance filtration surface area
- Kintama Black filter media, offering an impressive 2.33 m² of surface area per litre, supporting internal and external bacterial colonisation
- A debris collector bag for easy maintenance and cleaning
- Filter starter bacteria to activate biological filtration immediately
Pump requirements:
3000 lph to a max flow rate 6000 litres per hour.
Can be used with 15w or 25w UV

We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout
1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90
This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you
2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95
This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas
3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95
This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35
This is an overnight service Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.
You also MUST be in to sign for the koi.
Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery
6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery
7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipes and live fish
Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95
Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00
All our shipping company’s do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.
