Kusuri Klay
Kusuri Klay is a unique, high purity, Calcium Montmorillonite clay which remineralisers water, improves water clarity as well as the colour and lustre of your Koi. This product was researched for Kusuri in the late 1990’s at Exeter University. This exclusive clay removes stress proteins from the digestive tract of Koi, caused by food left open to airborne spores of fungi and algae. By adding an optimum level of 5% Kusuri Klay, digestibility of food can be improved by up to 22%. Kusuri Foods out perform many other foods on the market today because of this addition.
Dose Rates:
- 25 grams per 2,273 litres (500 gallons) of pond water. Use weekly throughout the year.
- All sizes of Kusuri Klay include a handy dose cup. One level dose cup holds 15.5g of Kusuri Klay
Product Storage
Store Kusuri Klay in original container, ensure the container is sealed after each use. Store in a cool frost free environment. Use within 12 months of opening.

Q. Will Kusuri Klay effect the pH of my pond water?
A. It would take about 1 ton of Klay to 5000 gallons to produce any significant permanent effect.
Q. At what temperature should I use Kusuri Klay?
A. Re-mineralising the pond is beneficial to Koi health at any temperature all year round.
Q. What if I have to medicate my pond?
A. No problem! Kusuri Klay is a pure mineral product, use 24 hrs before and 72 hours after any medications. Extra doses of Kusuri Klay can help restore water clarity.

1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90
This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you
2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95
This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas
3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95
This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35
This is an overnight service Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.
You also MUST be in to sign for the koi.
Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery
6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery
7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipes and live fish
Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95
Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00
