Kusuri Koi Sedate

Kusuri Koi Sedate is used for euthanasia and the sedation of fish, reducing fish stress levels and calming fish so minor surgical procedures or mucus scrapes can be taken to identify parasites. This gentle sedation formula is safe to use and does not contain harmful Acetone. Kusuri recommend that you store this product above 13°C. Below this temperature the product will solidify, do not allow to freeze. Read more

How To Use:

  • Use 10ml per 9 litres of pond water.
  • Fill a suitable bowl with enough water to cover the fish. Add measured dosage of Koi Sedate, and aerate with an air stone. Place fish in bowl until it rolls onto its side (normally 2-3 minutes). Lift fish, if there is any tail movement then place back into solution for a further 30 seconds and till the koi is fully sedated.
  • For euthanasia add two times the recommended dose. Do NOT use with salt.
  • Do not use below 15°C.

How are shipping works

We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout

 

1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90

This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only  which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you

 

2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95

This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas

 

3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95

This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.

 

4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35

This is an overnight service  Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.

You also  MUST be in to sign for the koi.

Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you

 

5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery

6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery

 

7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100  excluding lengths of pipes and live fish

Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95

Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00

  • Below 15°C double the dose to 20ml per treatment every five days.

Kusuri Fluke P is a 5% Praziquantel based liquid medication used to eradicate Gill Flukes, Body Flukes and Tapeworms. This liquid treatment is safe to use without destroying the beneficial bacteria in the filter and can be used at any temperature. While dosing with Fluke P you can continue to feed. This product is designed as a one off treatment, but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestation. Alternatively you can use Fluke M or Fluke S after 7 days. Kusuri Fluke P may cause excessive foaming in your pond if you are running Bakki Shower. If the mucus layer is excessive, we advise dosing with Chloramine T at 15g per 1000 gallons, 24 hours before using Fluke P, this will assist in reducing the mucus membrane where body flukes can sometimes get trapped. Kusuri Potassium Permanganate is another popular powdered chemical for various applications. A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F). At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible. Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be used to increase the oxygen levels in pond water and also remove the discolouration from the pond water after a course of Kusuri Potassium Permanganate has oxidized from pink to brown. Kusuri recommend NOT using Potassium Permanganate with salt. Read more
