Dose Rates:

  • 50ml per 4000 litres (880 gallons) of pond water.
  • 250ml treats 20,003 litres (4,400 gallons) of pond water
  • 500ml treats 40,006 litres (8,800 gallons) of pond water
  • 1 litre treats 80,012 litres (17,600 gallons) of pond water

Treat up to 3 times, 7 days apart. If using in conjunction with Formalin, reduce dose to 25ml per 4000 ltr (880 gallons).

DO NOT OVERDOSE. Over dosing can cause fish fatalities.

Kusuri Malachite Green

How To Use

Switch off UV steriliser until course of treatment is complete. Tighten cap and mix well. Fill a clean watering can with pond water, then add Malachite Green. Use cup to measure out the correct dose. Gradually sprinkle across the surface area of the pond over a 1 hour period. Do not use below 12.5°C.

Health And Safety

Store in original container. Store between 2°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. For animal treatment only. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling chemicals. Use within 12 months of opening. Do not use in conjunction with any other medication.

Kusuri Potassium Permanganate is another popular powdered chemical for various applications. A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F). At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible. Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be used to increase the oxygen levels in pond water and also remove the discolouration from the pond water after a course of Kusuri Potassium Permanganate has oxidized from pink to brown. Kusuri recommend NOT using Potassium Permanganate with salt. Read more

Kusuri Fluke S 

Kusuri Fluke S is a 50% Praziquantel based medication used to eradicate Gill Flukes, Body Flukes and Tape Worms. This treatment is safe to use without destroying the bacteria in the filter and can be used at any temperature. While dosing with Fluke S you can continue to feed. This product is designed as a one off treatment, but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestation. Alternatively you can use Kusuri Fluke M after 7 days. If the mucus layer is excessive, we advise dosing with Chloramine T  at 15g per 1000 gallons, 24 hours before using Fluke S, this will assist in reducing the mucus membrane where body flukes can sometimes get trapped. How To Use

How To Use

Use Roccal Wound Cleaner to clean the treatment area. After using Anti-Bac sprinkle Brava Powder, blow off excess powder. Allow powder to absorb into the wound (about 20-30 seconds). Lightly wet again with the Anti Bac and re apply if required. Finally apply Top Coat Sealer over powder and surrounding area. Allow sealer to dry off for at least 50 – 60 seconds.
