Description

Mr Koizumi – Clean & Clear

Mr Koizumi “Clean & Clear” contains a unique composition of bacteria designed to be used in both pond and pond filter to improve water clarity and health. Regularly adding these bacteria to the pond filter increases biological action, removing pollutants like ammonia and nitrite.  Regularly adding Clean & Clear to the pond water makes the water clearer, reduces sludge and organic materials, and keeps the water algae-free.

Instructions for use:

Spread the bacteria over biological filter materials such as lava rocks, Substrates, Japanese mats and other Biomasses. Turn off the UV or ozone for 24 hours after adding Mr Koizumi “Clean and Clear”. These bacteria develop optimally from 14 degrees.

Pond Dosage:

Distribute 25ml per 1000l over the pond surface every 2-4 weeks.

Filter Dosage:

Add 50ml per 1000l to the filter at start up or after each cleaning.

Using Clean and Clear at a higher frequency or dosage is recommended after medication use, after spawning, with ammonia or nitrite issues or with green pond water. A higher dosage of bacteria is harmless and improves the products effective action.

Store in a dark, frost free place. Shake well before use. Keep out of reach of children

How are shipping works

We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout

 

1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90

This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only  which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you

 

2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95

This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas

 

3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95

This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.

 

4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35

This is an overnight service  Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.

You also  MUST be in to sign for the koi.

Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you

 

5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery

6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery

 

7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100  excluding lengths of pipes and live fish

Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95

Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00

 

All our shipping company’s do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.

Mr  Koizumi GH/KH+ is a combination of essential minerals that together ensure the correct mineral balance in the pond. The quality of the mineral balance is extremely important for the growth of aquatic plants and the development of micro organisms. Organic life along with its components survives on these minerals. Organic processes stagnate in soft water. It is essential for stable and healthy pond life to add these essential minerals. Effect of GH/KH+ contains a broad range of minerals and as a result raises the general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH). Instructions for Optimal Use:

  • Dissolve 10 to 20 grams weekly per 1000 litres of pond water
  • First mix with a limited amount of water in a bucket, then spread evenly along the edges of the pond
  • The water will initially become cloudy but will clear within 24 hours, depending on the filtration and amount of organic material in the pond
  • Clay 86 can also be added directly to feed (1 – 5%) to improve digestion and nutrient absorption.
