At Cotswold koi We understand that sometimes it can be confusing as to knowing what equipment you require for your pond, So we have put together this kit which will make your life a 100% easier. This Kit is recommended for koi ponds up to 4,000 gallons or 18,000 litres and garden ponds up to 7,500 gallons or 34,000 litres.

System spec:

  • The Evolution Aqua Varipump 20,000 will be inside the pond and go through the Evolution Aqua 110w UV
  • This will then go to the Nexus 320
  • 4″ pipe will return the water back to the pond from the Nexus 320
  • There is a range of fittings to join the kit together and can be adjusted to suit your project.

The Nexus 320+

Evolution Aqua have launched the Nexus320+ and Nexus220+ filtration systems. Building on the tried and tested technology that has been ever present in the world renowned Nexus, the team at Evolution Aqua have gone even further to enhance their number one Koi pond filter.

The Nexus320+ and Nexus220+ filters now come with a new filter media called K+ Media in the moving bed outer chamber for vastly improved biological filtration and faster filter maturation. The Nexus 220 Filter Lid is vey light weight and very durable and UV resistant. They fit perfectly on top of the Nexus Eazy 220 & Nexus Eazy 320 systems.

The lids are very well made, robust and of course will with-stand the outside weather conditions as well, but more importantly it will keep out light as well as debris which will effect the Bio mass inside the Nexus Eazy 220 Filters. Read more

Oase ProfiClear Premium XL Drum Filter – Gravity EGC

Based on the highly successful OASE ProfiClear Premium L Drum Filter technology, the new ProfiClear XL pond filter system can be used to filter ponds up to 530,000 Litres (or 100,000 Litre Koi Ponds). The automated Drum Module has been oversized to remove particles and pollutants even in highly sedimented ponds. The XL Drum module is offered in both pump fed and gravity fed guises.

The Gravity Fed XL Filter Drum features 7 inlets for connection of up to 2 x Bitron Premium UVCs, Wall Skimmers or Bottom Drains. The 2 x 180mm outlets are designed for direct connection to the XL Moving Bed Module and/or Gravity Discharge Module. The Gravity XL Drum Filter Module is supplied with intelligent filter-mounted controller for automatic cleaning of the 16 individual drum filter sieves. The filter sieves will screen out debris down to 60 microns but can be changed to optional 30 micron or 150 micron sieves depending on the level of filtration required. The ProfiClear Gravity Fed XL Drum Filter can accept flow rates from 25,000 Litres/Hour up to 66,000 Litres/Hour.
