The Evolution Aqua Quartz Sleeve insulates the lamp from the water, allowing the lamp to operate at the optimum performance. The ultraviolet lamp will remain independent of the flow of water. Evolution Aqua Quartz Sleeves are of open-ended construction and are made from pure fused quartz. Quartz is extremely transparent over a wide spectral range, with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and quartz is resistant to scratching and thermal shock. Fused quartz is made from crushing and melting natural materials. The purity of quartz is paramount to the efficiency of the lamp and sleeve. Evo UV Replacement Bulbs

The Evo UV Replacement Bulbs are available for the whole range of the Evolution Aquas pond UV clarifiers. The T8 Bulbs are available in 5 different wattages with the 110w model requiring 2x 55w Bulbs. Since the UVC clarifier is mostly in constant use, the effect can wear off it is therefore recommended that the lamps be replaced at regular intervals. It is best to think about this in spring so that your clarifier is ready for the whole pond season.
