Description
Eazy Pod Grey
The EazyPod Grey is a compact marvel within the Nexus family, meticulously designed for pond enthusiasts with water features up to 10,000 litres. This exceptional mechanical and biological filter system ensures your aquatic haven thrives with crystal-clear water.
Harnessing the power of 18 litres of static K1 Micro, the EazyPod delivers superior biological benefits, transforming into a powerhouse of cleanliness even when utilized solely as a mechanical waste filter. As water gracefully enters through the inlet, it embarks on a journey around the outer chamber. The stainless steel grill acts as a gatekeeper, swiftly filtering out larger solids that settle at the chamber’s base – a meticulous dance in the realm of mechanical filtration.
How the Eazy Pod Grey works
The second act unfolds as water ventures into the central chamber, navigating the stainless steel grill once more. Here, the finer particles find themselves ensnared in the embrace of the K1 Micro. Within each piece of this cutting-edge media, bio-films flourish on protected surfaces, paving the way for unparalleled biological filtration. The clean water, having undergone this transformative process, ascends and gracefully overflows into the inner return pipe, embarking on its journey back to the pond via the outlet.
Cleaning the EazyPod is a breeze, thanks to its ingenious design. Employing the connected air pump during the cleaning cycle, the K1 Micro is stirred and rejuvenated, liberating any accumulated debris and waste. For optimal results, we recommend a 70-litre-per-minute air pump during the cleaning cycle – a touch of maintenance magic.
It’s worth noting that only the EazyPod Air and EazyPod Complete models come complete with a 70-litre-per-minute air pump and accessory kit, ensuring you have all the tools at your fingertips for a seamless aquatic experience. Dive into the simplicity of EazyPod – where innovation meets ease, and your pond thrives in its purest form.
PUMP-FED INSTALLATION
By this we mean that if your pump is going to be used to supply the water to the filter, and the filtered water then returns back into your pond via gravity, i.e. down a waterfall, or through a large diameter pipe, this is referred to as PUMP FED (i.e. the water is fed to the filter using a pump).
GRAVITY-FED INSTALLATION
*User modification is required on the Eazy Pod to enable Gravity Fed installation. By this we mean that your pump is going to be used to return the filtered water to the pond and therefore your filter will be supplied by gravity via a larger diameter pipe. In this situation the water level in the filter will be at the same level as the pond.
