The latest development of this filter medium impresses with a sensational surface area of 955 m² per m³ and an extremely large, protected colonisation surface for microorganisms of 806 m² per m³. 25 litres of Hel-X 13 can break down 170 g of fish food per day. Suitable for removing toxins such as ammonium, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. The new Hel-X media are white in colour. They gradually turn brownish in colour so that the degree of colonisation is clearly visible. Following rigorous Research & Development, OASE Engineers in Germany have successfully re-developed the Oase Hel-X Bio Media to further increase its biological settlement surface area by an additional 13%, resulting in the launch of Oase Hel-X 13 Bio medium. Oase Hel-X 13 consists of individual housings which allow beneficial aerobic bacteria to settle and breed inside the protected casings, helping to biologically break down soluble waste within the OASE ProfiClear Premium Moving Bed Filter Modules.

Oase Hel-X 13 allows a greater amount of bacteria to be contained within the same filter volume, resulting in more rapid breakdown of food and fish waste within the filter system. 25 Litres of Oase Hel-X 13 Bio media now has the capacity to biologically break down 170g of food/day.

Oase Hel-X 13 can be used on any Filters to significantly increase their biological capacity but has been specifically designed for the OASE Pond Filters .

  • We use Evri for our Economy Service this can take between 2 and 5 days. This service starts from £4.90. Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday which is a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you
  • We use DPD and DX for our premium/standard service which is a next working day delivery this service price starts from £7.95. This is collected from us Monday through to Friday, We cannot Guarantee it will be a next day as it is courier dependant
  • We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95. This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
  • We use APC for our Fish delivery service this service is £35. This is an overnight service. Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday. You also MUST be in to sign for the koi. Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
  • Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped to speed up delivery
  • We also ship from our suppliers this is to speed up delivery
  • We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipe and live fish
  • Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00. More than 1 Koi can fit in a box
  • All our shipping companies do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.
