This new compact drum filter of the ProfiClear Premium series is the inexpensive alternative for small to medium-sized bodies of water. The compact modular filter system is ideal for koi ponds up to 30 m³ in particular. Leading koi experts were consulted in developing the range. In the pumped principle, the maximum water flow through the filter is 20,000 litres per hour. With this completely self-cleaning drum filter unit, the moving bed system ensures optimal water movement and cleaning. Professional Hel-X bio-media effectively break down nutrients and pollutants in the water. A depth filtration of up to 60 microns and a new Hel-X 13 filter medium with a significantly larger surface ensure the high separation efficiency.

The AquaForte Prime Combi-Drum Filter is the perfect combination for mechanical & biological filtration in one housing: Drum filter with moving bed. Very compact size for a total filter system, fits on 1 pallet. The Drum filter part is identical to the AquaForte Prime Drum filter XL. The moving bed module has a volume of over 200 litres and is therefore suitable for at least 100 litres of media such as the Oase Hel X or the Evolution Aqua K Range Because of the slots in the passage, the bio chamber is not suitable for Eco Pond chips. Bio media is not included. Moving bed is equipped with large membrane aerator and piping for air pump connection. Max. flow ±30m³/h.

The Minima – Combi Unit

Another first for Draco – a true, fully functional, expandable drum combi system for under £1600.

Perfect for quarantines, average stocked ponds to 2000 gallons, multi tank / sump installations and anywhere else a complete, compact unit is needed where there is very little space as it is only 30.5cm wide.

Height above static pond water level is 17.5cm .

This unit will run gravity fed only!

Media capacity is approximately 40 litres and can take micro K1.

An additional bolt on bio unit will be available, allowing the user to seamlessly double the biological capacity of the filter.

  • The integrated controller has start / emergency stop buttons and a knob allowing you to change the length of wash. LED indicator shows the length of time between washes in minutes.  Status of the unit is via 4 colour coded LEDs.
  • Low voltage, sealed water valves and drive units utilising an extremely low geared stepper motor drive system mean that only 12 volts is anywhere near your pond water.
  • Designed to run without a noisy and power hungry wash pump in most circumstances (they are available if required). On standby the unit can use less than 12 watts and in full wash mode, use 35 watts. It is entirely possible to run it off a car battery for prolonged periods of time.

Oase ProfiClear Premium XL Drum Filter – Pump Fed EGC

Based on the highly successful OASE ProfiClear Premium L Drum Filter technology, the new ProfiClear XL pond filter system can be used to filter ponds up to 530,000 Litres (or 100,000 Litre Koi Ponds). The automated Drum Module has been oversized to remove particles and pollutants even in highly sedimented ponds. The XL Drum module is offered in both pump fed and gravity fed guises.

The Pump Fed XL Filter Drum features 5 water inlets for connection to submersed AquaMax Eco Expert pumps and the new Bitron Premium Ultraviolet Clarifiers. The Pump Fed XL Drum Filter Module is supplied with intelligent filter-mounted controller for automatic cleaning of the 16 individual drum filter sieves. The filter sieves will screen out debris down to 60 microns but can be changed to optional 30 micron or 150 micron sieves depending on the level of filtration required. The Pump Fed XL drum filter can accept flow rates from 25,000 Litres/Hour up to 50,000 Litres/Hour.
