OASE PhosLess Power Flow 3000 Cartridge
The filter cartridges from the flow cartridge system use phosphate-storing materials to quickly and effectively remove algae-causing phosphates from the pond water. The phosphate content is lowered below the growth limit for algae thus preventing the growth of algae. An increase in phosphates, for example, due to a bath in the swimming pond or natural pool, are collected immediately. Ultra-smooth glass beads on both sides and the matched cartridge design distribute the water flow around the centrally filled granulate and ensure an optimal storage result.

This is achieved by a solvent, resin binder and surfactant free construction using nothing but polypropylene, externally finished with thermal bonding. Our cartridges are characterised by excellent sediment absorption of sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. Kockney Koi Water purifiers are used to ensure your garden tap water is free of chlorine, heavy metals and other items that have been added, making the water totally safe for your fish.
In simple terms the purifiers work by passing water through activated carbon and out into the pond providing chemically cleaner, chlorine free water.
The chlorine and metals added to water varies from area to area and so there are no hard and fast rules as to how long the carbon will work before it is exhausted and needs to be changed, However, the life of the carbon can be prolonged by regularly back-flushing the unit (this should also be carried out before use the first time), and our Water Purifiers have a really easy to use back-flushing system added into it and gives a good amount of space inside the vessel to allow the carbon to percolate and move around when in back flush mode to give a efficient back flush system.
Water should be in contact with the carbon for approximately 5 minutes to enable it to absorb chlorine and other impurities.
Larger Purifier units contain more carbon and retain the water longer therefore enabling you to fill your pond faster.
Maintenance is easy, all you have to do is make sure that you change the carbon annually and the prefilter element (if added) when necessary.

The Aquaforte DosaTech is the ideal peristaltic pump for the dosing of a liquid solution into the piping system of your pond.
A dosage of up to 60ml an hour is possible. In addition, it is possible to change the dosage every hour by operating the push button underneath the display.

This may help to reduce your Koi from picking up diseases.
In General a flow rate of between 1 – 2 gls./min. will effectively process some 8,000 – 10,000 gallons for 10 inch pods and 18,000 to 20,000 for 20 inch pods.
Please note these figures can vary and depend to a certain extent on the quality of the water in your area.
