Run Dry and overload protection

The Superfish ECO-plus E 10000 pump is equipped with Run Dry Protection, 10 seconds after being taken away from water, the water pump will stop to protect it from running dry, it will try to re start after 10 seconds, if without water, it will stop again, this cycle will repeat 5 times, then the pump will stop. To re-start the pump take plug from main and plug back in and ensure pump is working well.

The pump has a thermal overload safety device. In the event of any overheating of the motor, this device automatically switches off the pump. The cooling time is roughly 15 to 20 minutes, then the pump automatically comes on again. If the overload cutout is tripped, it is essential to identify and deal with the cause of the overheating.

The Bacteria House Media is a ceramic that has been heat treated at 1300°c for 60hrs. This tremendous amount of heat causes the ceramic to break its internal bonds thereby creating an extremely porous structure that has a much greater surface to allow very large bacteria populations to colonise within the Media .

Due to the large quantities of tiny holes in the Bacteria House Media, mechanical filtration is also achieved. Large organic solids and decaying matter are degraded at a far greater speed than conventional media.

One of the key elements of the Bacteria House Media is that it reacts in a seemingly ‘electrostatic’ manner with floating organic matter causing an increase in adhesion rate. This produces clear clean water at a rapid rate. Water in its natural state creates multiple bonds with surrounding water molecules creating a cluster. The Bacteria House Media emits FAR infrared rays that break the bonds of the neighbouring water molecules thereby allowing more oxygen to be dissolved in the water.

The Superfish Pond ECO Plus RC 20000 Pump is now available with remote control that enables you to easily adjust your pond pump flow capacity.

The remote control enables you to switch your pump on/off and set the water flow rate of your Superfish Pond ECO Plus RC 20000 Pump to the required level of flow rate. This is the most economical to run pond pump as the slower the flow rate, the less wattage your pump uses.

These great economic to run, energy efficient Superfish Pond ECO Plus RC 20000 Pumps are suitable for dry-mounting and submerged use.

The engineering and understanding of how filtration works was developed to produce Draco drum solum 16. As with the ‘Drop-in’  Draco drum range these have some unique features to help eliminate deadspots that are usually found in standalones.

The Draco drum solum 16 are pretty enough for you not to want to hide them away.

The remotely sited controller has start / emergency stop buttons and a knob allowing you to change the length of wash. LED indicator shows the length of time between washes in minutes. It also has 2 leads – one to plug in to the mains supply (110v and 230v, auto selectable) and one to plug in to the drum. Status of the unit is via 4 colour coded LEDs. We didn’t think we could make it any simpler than that.

Low voltage, sealed water valves and drive units utilising an extremely low geared direct drive system mean that only 12 volts is anywhere near your pond water.

The Draco drum solum 16 was designed to run without a noisy and power hungry wash pump in most circumstances (they are available if required) . On standby the unit can use less than 12 watts and in full wash mode, use 35 watts. It is entirely possible to run it off a car battery for prolonged periods of time.
