Run Dry and overload protection

The Superfish ECO-plus E 12000 pump is equipped with Run Dry Protection, 10 seconds after being taken away from water, the water pump will stop to protect it from running dry, it will try to re start after 10 seconds, if without water, it will stop again, this cycle will repeat 5 times, then the pump will stop. To re-start the pump take plug from main and plug back in and ensure pump is working well.

The pump has a thermal overload safety device. In the event of any overheating of the motor, this device automatically switches off the pump. The cooling time is roughly 15 to 20 minutes, then the pump automatically comes on again. If the overload cutout is tripped, it is essential to identify and deal with the cause of the overheating.

Draco Drum Minima Combi Unit

The Draco Drum Minima Combi Unit is perfect for quarantines and average stocked ponds upto 2000 gallons. This compact unit is needed where there is very little space as it is only 30.5cm wide. Height above static pond water level is 17.5cm . Media capacity is approximately 40 litres and can take micro K1. An additional bolt on bio unit will be available, allowing the user to seamlessly double the biological capacity of the filter.

• The integrated controller has start / emergency stop buttons and a knob allowing you to change the length of wash. LED indicator shows the length of time between washes in minutes.  Status of the unit is via 4 colour coded LEDs.
• Low voltage, sealed water valves and drive units utilising an extremely low geared stepper motor drive system mean that only 12 volts is anywhere near your pond water.
• Designed to run without a noisy and power hungry wash pump in most circumstances (they are available if required). On standby the unit can use less than 12 watts and in full wash mode, use 35 watts. It is entirely possible to run it off a car battery for prolonged periods of time.

Blue Eco Pump 1500 Watt

Cotswold Koi are proud to introduce the New Blue Eco Pump 1500 watt with exclusive True sine wave technology.

The  Blue ECO Titanium pumps are the most ECO friendly electric pumps produced. They utilise brushless DC electric motor technology, and have an efficiency rating of 94.6% – this compares with normal electric motors with have an efficiency of 45 – 50%. The power and therefore energy consumption is fully adjustable from 10 – 100% of full power, so when reducing the R.P.M the energy consumption reduces accordingly. The pumps produce very little heat as 94% of the energy used goes to turn the impellor, which makes them ideal for dry applications.

The  Blue Eco Pumps have an efficiency up to 94.6 %. The Blue Eco Pumps are whisper quite and come complete with seperate control unit.

Available in 240 watt, 320 watt, 500 watt, 900 watt, 1500 watt.
