AquaMax Eco Premium 12000. Pond Medic Bactacide is an effective treatment against many aquatic bacterial infections. Very effective against ulcers, frayed fins, sores and fungus.
Directions
Add 10ml per 750 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat this dose weekly for 3 weeks. Use as a short term dip at a rate of 10ml per 10 gallons for no more than 30 minutes. Severe infections like ulcers may be swabbed with neat solution.
Note
Always mix in a suitable container with some pond water and distribute evenly around the pond.
Important
Calculate your pond volume accurately. To calculate your pond volume: Length x Width x Depth x 6 = Gallonage (all measurements are in feet). Monitor your fish during all treatments. Aeration is essential during treatment. If necessary, use an additional air pump. Filtration should be maintained at all times. Switch off Ultra Violet filters during treatment. Do not overdose. If in doubt seek advice from your dealer or alternatively use the Helpline.

The Bacteria House Media is a ceramic that has been heat treated at 1300°c for 60hrs. This tremendous amount of heat causes the ceramic to break its internal bonds thereby creating an extremely porous structure that has a much greater surface to allow very large bacteria populations to colonise within the Media .
Due to the large quantities of tiny holes in the Bacteria House Media, mechanical filtration is also achieved. Large organic solids and decaying matter are degraded at a far greater speed than conventional media.
One of the key elements of the Bacteria House Media is that it reacts in a seemingly ‘electrostatic’ manner with floating organic matter causing an increase in adhesion rate. This produces clear clean water at a rapid rate. Water in its natural state creates multiple bonds with surrounding water molecules creating a cluster. The Bacteria House Media emits FAR infrared rays that break the bonds of the neighbouring water molecules thereby allowing more oxygen to be dissolved in the water.

The Super Shower is a modular trickle filter that is easy to install and can also be fitted in as an additional filter. Trickle filters are often used in cultivation systems due to their high biological capacity, quick biology start-up and enormous oxygen enrichment of water.
Trickle filter operating principle:
A trickle filter’s operating principle is very simple. The water is pumped up and then well distributed across a perforated surface. This causes the water to splash down on the filter medium like a shower. This method causes the water to break up and absorb a great deal of oxygen: ideal for a biological system that demands a high level of oxygen. This is why a trickle filter starts up faster than other filters, such as multi-chamber systems or beadfilters. It therefore stands to reason that this is the system of choice for most cultivation farms.
SuperShower’s characteristics:
The SuperShower is a modular system. Every chamber module can be stacked on top of another module. This makes it possible to adjust or expand the filter to meet every need.
The water is pumped into the upper chamber. The water is distributed via a perforated plate, creating a perfect shower. The biofilter medium is located below this plate which is completely infiltrated by this shower. The water then flows through the perforated bottom to the next chamber. Since the chambers are not completely filled with filter media, there is a sufficient drop height for the water to redistribute itself and to break up after each chamber.
The lowest chamber also contains biofilter media. However, the bottom of this chamber is solid and the water flows out of this chamber back to the pond via the 3x 110 mm outlets.
