The BD-150 Combi Pond Drum Filter is the perfect filter for any smaller pond or quarantine system (up to 2000 gallons). With its 150mm long mesh screen this unit has a maximum flowrate of 15,000 lph. Recommended flow rate is 8,000-10,000 lph. It houses all the same technology as our larger units but has a built in Bio-Chamber suitable for up to 100lts of Fluidised Media or any other Biological Media that is preferred for example Jap-Mat or Ceramic Media. It comes complete with two single plug sockets to control your main pump and UV which means installation has never been so simple. 1 x 10-watt Uv can be added. (2nd 10-watt Uv can be added if connected to the Uv plug socket outlet) Our drums are all designed to have Uvs fitted inside the filter. As well as stopping green water Uvs inside the drum help keep the drum screen clean resulting in less cleaning cycles. If the correct size Uv is added there’s no need for additional Uvs to be fitted to your pond.

How are shipping works

We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout

 

1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90

This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only  which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you

 

2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95

This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas

 

3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95

This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.

 

4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35

This is an overnight service  Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.

You also  MUST be in to sign for the koi.

Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you

 

5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery

6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery

 

7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100  excluding lengths of pipes and live fish

Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95

Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00

 

All our shipping company’s do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.

Burtons BD-150 Drum Filter Kit

At Cotswold koi we understand that sometimes it can be confusing to know what equipment you require for your pond, So we have put together this useful Burtons BD-150 Drum filter kit which will make your life a 100% easier. This Kit is recommended for koi ponds up to 3,000 gallons or 13,500 litres and garden ponds up to 5000 gallons or 22,500 litres.

The kit includes everything you need to get your filter up and running and you can even customise each item to suit your own individual project.

System spec:
  • 4″ single Aerated Bottom Drain and pipework and 4″ ball valve.
  • 4″ wall skimmer and pipework and 4″ ball valve.
  • Both these would feedback to the Drum filter.
  • Hi Blow XP 40 Air Pump to power the Aerated drain.
  • Hi Blow XP 40 Air Pump to Aerate the bio chamber.
  • We’ve decided to include with the Burtons BD-150 Drum filter kit, two Evolution Aqua Varipump 10000 (dual pumps build redundancy into the system).
