Shipping Rules

We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout

  • We use Evri for our Economy Service this can take between 2 and 5 days. This service starts from £4.90. Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday which is a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you
  • We use DPD and DX for our premium/standard service which is a next working day delivery this service price starts from £7.95. This is collected from us Monday through to Friday, We cannot Guarantee it will be a next day as it is courier dependant
  • We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95. This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
  • We use APC for our Fish delivery service this service is £35. This is an overnight service. Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday. You also MUST be in to sign for the koi. Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
  • Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped to speed up delivery
  • We also ship from our suppliers this is to speed up delivery
  • We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipe and live fish
  • Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00. More than 1 Koi can fit in a box
  • All our shipping companies do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.

At Cotswold koi we understand that sometimes it can be confusing to know what equipment you require for your pond, So we have put together this useful Burtons BD-150 Drum filter kit which will make your life a 100% easier. This Kit is recommended for koi ponds up to 3,000 gallons or 13,500 litres and garden ponds up to 5000 gallons or 22,500 litres.

The kit includes everything you need to get your filter up and running and you can even customise each item to suit your own individual project.

  • 4″ single Aerated Bottom Drain and pipework and 4″ ball valve.
  • 4″ wall skimmer and pipework and 4″ ball valve.
  • Both these would feedback to the Drum filter.
  • Hi Blow XP 40 Air Pump to power the Aerated drain.
  • Hi Blow XP 40 Air Pump to Aerate the bio chamber.
  • We’ve decided to include with the Burtons BD-150 Drum filter kit, two Evolution Aqua Varipump 10000 (dual pumps build redundancy into the system).

The Burtons BD 300 MK3 Combi Pond Drum Filter houses all the same technology as a normal BD 300 but has a built in Bio-Chamber suitable for up to 150lts of Fluidised Media or any other biological Media that is preferred for example Jap-Mat or Ceramic Media. As standard in the Burtons range, these drums come with a 60 micron screen, and a weather proof auto control box which now comes complete with our socket panel as standard which means you can just simply plug in your UVs and pumps straight in to the sockets for easy installation. These drums feature 3 x 110mm inlets and 3 x 110mm outlets. Plus 2 x 110mm additional outlets before the bio section which are on each side of the unit. Read more
