Kockney Koi Red Filter Brushes are suited for both mechanical and biological filtration. As water passes through a series of brushes in the filtration system, the bristles will catch and filter out suspended solids, whilst also providing an ample surface area where the nitrifying bacteria can colonize and thrive. Clean the brushes by removing them from the filter, shaking them out and rinsing in pond water..DO NOT use tap water to rinse them, as this will severely to reduce or eliminate the beneficial bacteria which is growing on the brush. Kockney Koi Red Filter Brushes are suited for both mechanical and biological filtration.   • We use Evri for our Economy Service this can take between 2 and 5 days. This service starts from £4.90. Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday which is a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you

  • We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95. This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
  • We use APC for our Fish delivery service this service is £35. This is an overnight service. Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday. You also MUST be in to sign for the koi. Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
  • Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped to speed up delivery
  • We also ship from our suppliers this is to speed up delivery
  • We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipe and live fish
  • Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00. More than 1 Koi can fit in a box
  • All our shipping companies do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.

Kusuri Lithaqua

Kusuri Lithaqua is a natural calcified seaweed. A pH buffer that can last a number of years. Lithaqua is a marine mineral sometimes referred to as coral, however it is calcified seaweed, high in trace elements and carbonates. Ideal for use in tanks and filter bays.   • 20kg of Kusuri Lithaqua to 2500 gallons (11365 litres) of pond water.

After placing Kusuri Lithaqua in to the Net Sack, Kusuri advise rinsing the Net Sack with contents in a bucket of pond water to avoid damaging ball valve or slide valve rubber seals.

Vortex chambers are good for settling out heavy waste but much less efficient with the lightweight particles. Have you noticed that even though you get a lot of waste in the bottom of your vortex, you still find that the subsequent chambers get very dirty too.
