Kusuri Acriflavine

How To Use

Repeat dose every 3 days for a maximum of 10 doses. Switch off UV steriliser until course of treatment is complete.

Fill a clean watering can with pond water, then add Kusuri 1% Acriflavine.

Slowly apply to the pond over a 1 hour period, this will prevent shocking the pond with a highly concentrated dose.

Do NOT overdose as this may cause fish fatalities.

Stop feeding during the course of treatment because Acriflavine will reduce the bacteria in the filter, continuing to feed will cause an ammonia spike.

Health And Safety

Store in original container between 2°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. For animal pond water treatment only. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling chemicals. Use within 12 months of opening. Do not use in conjunction with any other medication. Safe to use with salt.

  • We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95. This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
  • We use APC for our Fish delivery service this service is £35. This is an overnight service. Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday. You also MUST be in to sign for the koi. Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
  • Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped to speed up delivery
  • We also ship from our suppliers this is to speed up delivery
  • We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipe and live fish
  • Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00. More than 1 Koi can fit in a box

Kusuri Fluke P

Kusuri Fluke P is a 5% Praziquantel based liquid medication used to eradicate Gill Flukes, Body Flukes and Tapeworms. This liquid treatment is safe to use without destroying the beneficial bacteria in the filter and can be used at any temperature. While dosing with Fluke P you can continue to feed. This product is designed as a one off treatment, but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestation. Alternatively you can use Fluke M or Fluke S after 7 days. Kusuri Fluke P may cause excessive foaming in your pond if you are running Bakki Shower. If the mucus layer is excessive, we advise dosing with Chloramine T at 15g per 1000 gallons, 24 hours before using Fluke P, this will assist in reducing the mucus membrane where body flukes can sometimes get trapped. Kusuri Biobalance is a natural mineral powder that will raise carbonate alkalinity (KH), raise pH and assist in stabilising pH swings. Biobalance is a high grade pure carbonate with essential elements and dosed on a weekly basis will improve your water quality. Once you have the desired KH level re-dose weekly. Kusuri Potassium Permanganate is another popular powdered chemical for various applications. A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F). At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible. Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be used to increase the oxygen levels in pond water and also remove the discolouration from the pond water after a course of Kusuri Potassium Permanganate has oxidized from pink to brown.
