Kusuri Formalin is used normally, with Kusuri Malachite green, and this aids the eradication of White Spot, it strips off some to the protective mucus layer on the fish thus allowing the Malachite Green to work. Kusuri Malachite green and Kusuri Formalin are the best treatment for common external parasitic infections. We do not recommend the use of Kusuri Formalin with any salt in solution.   • Use 75ml per 4546 litres (1000 gallons) of pond water. Treat up to 3 times, 7 days apart.
  • 250ml treats 15,116 litres (3,325 gallons) of pond water

How To Use

Switch off UV steriliser until course of treatment is complete. Tighten cap and mix well. Measure out the correct dose. Fill a clean watering can with pond water, then add KUSURI Formalin. Gradually sprinkle across the surface area of the pond over a 1 hour period. Do not use below 12.5°C. Never use KUSURI Formalin with salt in the pond, or if the liquid has gone cloudy, or has crystallised.

Stop feeding during the course of treatment because KUSURI Formalin will reduce the bacteria in the filter, continuing to feed will cause an ammonia spike.

Health And Safety

Store in original container between 5°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. For animal pond water treatment only. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling chemicals. Use within 12 months of opening. Do not use in conjunction with any other medication. Do not use with salt.

Kusuri Potassium Permanganate is another popular powdered chemical for various applications. A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F). At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible. Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be used to increase the oxygen levels in pond water and also remove the discolouration from the pond water after a course of Kusuri Potassium Permanganate has oxidized from pink to brown. Kusuri recommend NOT using Potassium Permanganate with salt. Read more

Kusuri Biobalance is a natural mineral powder that will raise carbonate alkalinity (KH), raise pH and assist in stabilising pH swings. Biobalance is a high grade pure carbonate with essential elements and dosed on a weekly basis will improve your water quality. Once you have the desired KH level re-dose weekly. Dosage:

How To Use
