Kusuri Sludgebuster

Kusuri Sludgebuster contains selected bacteria to efficiently bio-degrade sludge and detritus in ponds, pipework, filters, areas hard to clean such as folds in pond liners and improves pump flow rate. Regular use prevents accumulation of organic sediments, is ideal as a spring and autumn treatment, reduces biological oxygen demand (B.O.D), increasing oxygen availability to fish and the biological filter. Kusuri Sludge buster is best applied weekly or at least once a month. Ideal for use in ponds with no bottom drain system where the build up of waste can cause poor water quality and clarity. Kusuri recommend using Sludge buster once a month in this situation to keep the pond clean and hygienic, assisting in preventing bacterial infections. Read more

How To Use:

Using a fresh cotton bud apply Kusuri Anti-Bac to the wound. Pay careful attention to work the solution around any damaged scales, avoiding disturbance to the good scales. Allow to dry and using a clean cotton bud apply a second application.

Kusuri Koi Sedate

Kusuri Koi Sedate is used for euthanasia and the sedation of fish, reducing fish stress levels and calming fish so minor surgical procedures or mucus scrapes can be taken to identify parasites. This gentle sedation formula is safe to use and does not contain harmful Acetone. Kusuri recommend that you store this product above 13°C. How To Use:

  • Use 10ml per 9 litres of pond water.
  • Fill a suitable bowl with enough water to cover the fish. Add measured dosage of Koi Sedate, and aerate with an air stone. Place fish in bowl until it rolls onto its side (normally 2-3 minutes). Lift fish, if there is any tail movement then place back into solution for a further 30 seconds and till the koi is fully sedated.
  • For euthanasia add two times the recommended dose. Do NOT use with salt.
  • Do not use below 15°C.

Kusuri Fluke M is a 50mg/g Flubendazole medication used to eradicate Gill and Body Flukes. This treatment is safe to use without destroying your filter bacteria. It can be used at any temperature.   • Dosage: 11.8g per 1000 gallons (4546 Litres) of pond water.
  • Check water temperature before use. For best results use above 12°C.
  • Below 12°C parasites become dormant. Be aware of day to evening temperature fluctuations.
  • Kusuri Fluke M stays active in the water for a total of 7 days.

How To Use

Use Roccal Wound Cleaner to clean the treatment area. After using Anti-Bac sprinkle Brava Powder, blow off excess powder. Allow powder to absorb into the wound (about 20-30 seconds). Lightly wet again with the Anti Bac and re apply if required. Finally apply Top Coat Sealer over powder and surrounding area. Allow sealer to dry off for at least 50 – 60 seconds.
