Premium Koi Keepers Kit
As a koi keeper You have a duty of care to ensure that your koi are always in tip top condition and Healthy. We at Cotswold Koi thoroughly believe that every koi keeper should have these items as part of the general equipment needed to care for koi.
- Koi Net – A 66cm Koi net with 2mtr aluminium pole to enable you to Perform routine scrapes or to introduce the fish to the koi sock.
- Water Tight Koi Sock – A 11″ koi sock is necessary to safely transport your koi and water (water to inspection bowl) to the inspection bowl or quarantine tank without risk of it falling to the ground from the net.
- Inspection Bowl – An inspection bowl Is a vital part of koi keeping as it enables you to check your koi over More closely than Usual and also enables you To perform scrapes from specific areas of the koi and have more control Whilst performing the scrapes. Also a bowl can be used as a facility to do bathing treatments or simply allow you to photograph the koi up close .
- Microscope – A vital part of equipment which enables you to closely inspect your Koi to assess the relevant treatment you require .
- Glass slides – The surface to which your mucus sample is placed.
- Cover Slips – Placed on top of the Mucus sample to increase the surface area of the mucus

How are shipping works
We have several different ways of shipping available on our website for you to select when you go through to checkout
1, We use Evri for our Economy service this service can take between 2 and 5 day This service starts from £4.90
This is because Evri collect from us on a Monday and Thursday only which will be a Tuesday and Friday delivery to you
2, We use DPD for our premium/standard service which is next working day delivery This service prices start from £7.95
This is collected from us Monday through to Friday This is NOT a Guaranteed next day delivery service however it is a overnight service and is quite often delivered to you the next day, excluding remote areas
3, We use Dx Freight for our standard large service for things like Pipe lengths and larger items This service is £19.95
This is on a next working day delivery and is Monday through to Friday.
4, We use APC for our Fish delivery service This service is £35
This is an overnight service Koi will be scheduled to arrive between 8.00am – 12:00 midday.
You also MUST be in to sign for the koi.
Delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday & now Fridays and will always be pre arranged with you
5, Some larger items and bespoke items are dropped shipped this is to speed up delivery
6, We also ship from our supplier from warehouse again this is to speed up delivery
7, We also offer Free Delivery on orders over £100 excluding lengths of pipes and live fish
Lengths of pipe are sent with DX and have a price of £19.95
Live fish are sent with APC and have a price of £35.00
All our shipping company’s do give us tracking information that you should receive by email this includes any orders we drop ship.
