Aquadrift 4″ Bottom Drain
The Aquadrift 4″ Bottom Drain is perfect for all gravity fed installations.
Precision machine cut to the highest standard, a bottom drain you can rely on.
1″ separate pressure pipe air connection allows air to enter the drain independently from the water pipe outlet.
The membrane and backing plate on the Aquadrift bottom drain fits into a recess in the specially manufactured rubber dome . The recess in the Aquadrift bottom drain prevents the membrane from becoming detached. The complete assembly is secured to the Aquadrift bottom drain by means of a threaded stem, which also provides the air inlet.
Suitable for 4″ or 110mm pipework. Can be used with standard waste pipe with suitable connectors.
Recommended maximum air pressure 120ltrs
Can be used with no air hose to the unit, simply use the appropriate connector after your air pump
Spindrifter Aerated Drain lid
The Spindrifter Aerated Drain lid replaces the standard dome on your 4″ bottom drain. The unit has a wide diameter rubber insert with thousands of tiny holes to allow the air flow to come out.
The air line supply can either be inserted inside the length of the bottom drain pipe – coming out at a convenient place near to where your Air pump will be situated, or it can, be simply run across the base of the pond to your Air pump.

All Koi ponds should be fitted with bottom drains, and we strongly recommend this.
These Economy Bottom Drains With Ring Aerator are well made and are suited for use with 110mm or 50mm waste pipe. The dome is removable with a large integral surface mounted air ring diffuser around the outer edge
We cannot express the importance of installing a bottom drain when planning and building your pond and these drains provide a cost effective way of doing this.

Supa Tuff – Bottom Drain Lid (Retro Fit)
The ideal solution for e.g. swimming ponds! Due to the strong rim there is a low risk when someone stands on top of the lid. The weight is distributed along the ring that rests on the bottom of a standard bottom drain. Very easy to insert/remove (for maintenance) with a koi net handle. Material: PE & stainless steel. Lid: Ø35cm x 1cm, bottom ring: Ø21cm x 2 cm. Total height: 20 cm. NOTE: comes in separate parts, due to shipping size. Easy to assemble.
Spindrifter Aerated Bottom Drain
The Spindrifter aerated bottom drain is known worldwide for its quality and design. This Spindrifter aerated bottom drain completely replaces the “Standard Bottom Drain.”
The most noticeable feature of the Spindrifter bottom drain is the extra 1 inch DIA Pressure pipe connection in the sump of the drain. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.

We find most filter bays are within a 3,6 or 9 meter distance from the bottom drain location so we have grouped together all the products that you require to install a bottom drain effectively without the headache. You can choose from either 1, 2 or 3 lengths of the required pipework to enable you to achieve most drainage Requirements. Should any further pipe work or fittings be required they can also be added via the pipework section on the website.
