Roto Shower Tube

Using the latest manufacturing processes the Roto Shower Tube Filter’s are designed and manufactured for Koi and Garden Ponds as a main filter or as extra filtration to improve an existing system.

The Roto Shower Tube Filter has a small foot print which makes it an ideal choice where installation space is of a premium. The biological media chamber holds up to 100 litres of Crystal Bio which means there is no loss of filtration performance.

The Roto Shower Filter, is very low maintenance, the water is injected through a spray bar creating increased oxygen levels, this in conjunction with the inovative robust design there is minimal heat loss due to the thermal retention moulding of the filters construction. The Crystal Bio Shower Filter will Help prevent drops in pH and helps to reduce Nitrates.

The Crystal Bio Shower Filter naturaly uses Crystal Bio Media which is an extremely lightweight biological media ideal for showers or trickle filters.

This Crystal Bio Media has up to 10 times the surface area of most plastic media due to the hyper-interconnecting cell structure, not only is Crystal Bio Media Unique, but its also an eco-friendly glass media, heated in excess of 900°C, creating a hyper-connecting glass cell structure.

Two models are available in the range, the Crystal Bio Shower Filter including 100 litres of the Crystal Bio media or the very popular Crystal Bio Shower Sieve Filter including 60 litres of the Crystal Bio media.

The Crystal Bio housing stands 1225mm high and has an external diamter of 450mm. The Inlet on both models is by means of a 1½” connection and reducing bushes and stepped hosetails are included. The outlet or return is via 3″ pipework under gravity. On the shower model, the waste outlet is blanked off, and when purchased as a sieve version both waste outlet and relevant valves are supplied. The Crystal Bio Sieve filter provides the added benefit of removing waste material before the water enters the biological stage of the shower, adding extra machanical filtration.

The Filtreco Trickle Tower (Bakki Shower) Medium and Large The most effective way to turn harmful, dissolved elements (such as proteins, ammonium, nitrite, etc.) in the pond water into harmless compounds.

The more fish swimming in a pond, the more waste. Aerobic bacteria (bacteria that occur in an oxygen rich environment) break this waste to nitrate, a substance that is less harmful to water quality.

To keep Koi optimal health is good water quality is very important. In a pond with Koi optimum water values will feel better and the growth and development of fish stimulated.

The water comes up in the instroombak of Filtreco Trickle Tower filter inside where it is distributed to one spray tube of 50mm or63mm. Among them are so-called 1 drop units mounted which are provided with a perforated bottom, for the water to flow through easily. The drop of the user units to be filled with a filter media of choice. The units are also equipped with
air holes through which oxygen is easily pulled inwards. Optimal oxygen saturation of the water will be accomplished.
