Burtons BD 300 MK3 Combi Pond Drum Filter
The Burtons BD 300 MK3 Combi Pond Drum Filter houses all the same technology as a normal BD 300 but has a built in Bio-Chamber suitable for up to 150lts of Fluidised Media or any other biological Media that is preferred for example Jap-Mat or Ceramic Media. As standard in the Burtons range, these drums come with a 60 micron screen, and a weather proof auto control box which now comes complete with our socket panel as standard which means you can just simply plug in your UVs and pumps straight in to the sockets for easy installation. These drums feature 3 x 110mm inlets and 3 x 110mm outlets. Plus 2 x 110mm additional outlets before the bio section which are on each side of the unit. The BD 300 MK3 Combi can handle upto 35,000ltr per hour though the drum section. We would recommend taking no more than 20,000 ltrs from the bio section outlets, if you want more flow we have added outlets either side to pull the additional flow. Maximum flow rate 35,000ltr per hour for gravity fed systems, 25,000 ltr per hour for pump fed. 2 x 20-watt Uvs can be added. Our drums are all designed to have Uvs fitted inside the filter. As well as stopping green water Uvs inside the drum help keep the drum screen clean resulting in less cleaning cycles. If the correct size Uv is added there’s no need for additional Uvs to be fitted to your pond.
