Pond Medic Bactacide is an effective treatment against many aquatic bacterial infections. Very effective against ulcers, frayed fins, sores and fungus.
Directions
Add 10ml per 750 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat this dose weekly for 3 weeks. Use as a short term dip at a rate of 10ml per 10 gallons for no more than 30 minutes. Severe infections like ulcers may be swabbed with neat solution.
Note
Always mix in a suitable container with some pond water and distribute evenly around the pond.

- 250 ml treats – 3750 Gallons
- 500 ml treats – 7500 Gallons
- 1ltr Treats – 15,000 Gallons.
Directions:
Add 10ml per 750 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided. Repeat 5 days later then again after a further 5 days. For difficult cases increase the dose to 10ml per 500 Litres (100 Gallons) and repeats as above. For a short term bath (5 minutes max) use 10ml per 10 gallons (50 Litres).

Pond Medic + Anti Foam is an effective anti foaming agent that is harmless to plants and pond life.
Kockney Koi Pond Medic + Anti Foam is an easy way to stop and prevent unsightly foaming on the surface of ponds.
Anti Foam may be used at any time during the year but especially in the spring and summer months.
This product is harmless to all pond life if used correctly.
Directions:
Add 10ml per 682 Litres (150 Gallons) using the measuring cup provided.
This dose may be repeated after one hour.
Pour gently over the surface of the pond.
Do not repeat more than 5 times in any one week.

- For best results add Anti Foam around pump area to ensure even distribution.

Pond Medic Plus Fluke Off
Pond Medic Plus Fluke Off is an effective treatment against skin, gill flukes and intestinal helminths. For Koi Carp or coldwater ornamental fish. Always ensure correct diagnosis for flukes by taking a scrape before treatment. Fluke Off is best used above 10°C.
Directions:
Switch off UV Steriliser, carbon filter and protein skimmer and aerate the pond until treatment has been completed, for a minimum of 7 days.
Fluke Off will not destroy friendly bacteria, you can continue feeding during treatment. Tighten cap, shake and mix well. Measure the correct dose. Using a clean watering can filled with pond water add the Fluke Off using the measuring cup to get the correct dose. Slowly add to the return of the pond over a 1 hour period, this will prevent shocking the pond.
Do not use in conjunction with any other treatment

This Crystal Bio Media has up to 10 times the surface area of most plastic media due to the hyper-interconnecting cell structure, not only is Crystal Bio Media Unique, but its also an eco-friendly glass media, heated in excess of 900°C, creating a hyper-connecting glass cell structure.
Two models are available in the range, the Crystal Bio Shower Filter including 100 litres of the Crystal Bio media or the very popular Crystal Bio Shower Sieve Filter including 60 litres of the Crystal Bio media.
The Crystal Bio Shower Filter, is very low maintenance, the water is injected through a spray bar creating increased oxygen levels, this in conjunction with the inovative robust design. There is minimal heat loss due to the thermal retention moulding of the filters construction.
The Crystal Bio housing stands 1225mm high and has an external diamter of 450mm. The Inlet on both models is by means of a 1½” connection and reducing bushes and stepped hosetails are included. The outlet or return is via 3″ pipework under gravity. On the shower model, the waste outlet is blanked off, and when purchased as a sieve version both waste outlet and relevant valves are supplied. The Crystal Bio Sieve filter provides the added benefit of removing waste material before the water enters the biological stage of the shower, adding extra machanical filtration.

The Spindrifter bottom drain is known worldwide for its quality and design. This unit completely replaces the “Standard Bottom Drain.”
The most noticeable feature is the extra connection in the sump of the drain. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independently of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach. The membrane and backing plate fit into a recess in the specially manufactured dome (provided). The recess in the dome prevents the membrane from becoming detached. The complete assembly is secured to the bottom drain by means of stem, which also provides the air inlet. Most water pipe sizes can be accommodated, the customer to specify. The air inlet is via a nickel-plated connector.

Trickle filter operating principle:
A trickle filter’s operating principle is very simple. The water is pumped up and then well distributed across a perforated surface. This causes the water to splash down on the filter medium like a shower. This method causes the water to break up and absorb a great deal of oxygen: ideal for a biological system that demands a high level of oxygen. This is why a trickle filter starts up faster than other filters, such as multi-chamber systems or beadfilters. It therefore stands to reason that this is the system of choice for most cultivation farms.
SuperShower’s characteristics:
The SuperShower is a modular system. Every chamber module can be stacked on top of another module. This makes it possible to adjust or expand the filter to meet every need.
The water is pumped into the upper chamber. The water is distributed via a perforated plate, creating a perfect shower. The biofilter medium is located below this plate which is completely infiltrated by this shower. The water then flows through the perforated bottom to the next chamber. Since the chambers are not completely filled with filter media, there is a sufficient drop height for the water to redistribute itself and to break up after each chamber.
The lowest chamber also contains biofilter media. However, the bottom of this chamber is solid and the water flows out of this chamber back to the pond via the 3x 110 mm outlets.
