Thanks to a further optimized surface structure and a diameter of now 25mm, we have succeeded in increasing the biologically activatable growth area for nitrifying, pollutant-degrading bacteria. The laboratory for nanostructures at the University of Bielefeld found a protected surface of 4370 m² per cubic meter at the new Eco Pondchip. It is also our goal to achieve the highest possible active bacteria population in the smallest possible space. As a result, considerably smaller biofilters can be produced and considerably lower costs can be achieved. Only 90 liters of Eco Pondchip are capable of biodegrading a daily feed quantity of up to 1 KG . Why, therefore, Several cubic meters of static biofilters? In addition to a considerably lower cost and effort compared to static biofilters, the moving bed technology guarantees a much better inflow and utilization of the surface compared to static biofilters. An undesirable channel formation, as occurs in many static biofilters over time, is also avoided with the permanently self-cleaning moving bed technology.

Run Dry and overload protection
The Superfish ECO-plus E 8000 pump is equipped with Run Dry Protection, 10 seconds after being taken away from water, the water pump will stop to protect it from running dry, it will try to re start after 10 seconds, if without water, it will stop again, this cycle will repeat 5 times, then the pump will stop. To re-start the pump take plug from main and plug back in and ensure pump is working well.
The pump has a thermal overload safety device. In the event of any overheating of the motor, this device automatically switches off the pump. The cooling time is roughly 15 to 20 minutes, then the pump automatically comes on again. If the overload cutout is tripped, it is essential to identify and deal with the cause of the overheating.

Overall dimensions are; 540mm long x 250mm wide x 780mm tall.
Supplied with a 2-inch removable spray bar should the user wish to drill more holes.
Extra tiers can be purchased separately should a larger capacity shower be required.
The Bacteria Shower comes with the standard waterfall type base to sit on the pond wall but can be ordered with a piped base if required to allow the outflow to be piped to a certain location.
A two-spray bar top tier of the shower is available if extra water volume is required.
This shower has a recommended maximum flow rate of 4,000 gallons per hour (18,000 litres).

The Origin Draco Drum is a reasonably priced and reliable unit. It comes with a choice of screens 77 microns and 58 microns depending on what is required. This Drum Can be used without a pressure wash pump – wash cycle runs off a normal garden hose with a minimum pressure of 2.5 bar with good flow. The Origin uses 40 watts of power while active, 11.5 watts while on standby and 78 watts while active with optional pressure pump. The Drive system comprises direct gearing to the back of the drum minimising complexity, the sealed motor unit is mounted on a single pivot swing arm as a safety feature to stop foreign bodies jamming the system. Its a fairly Simple installation via multiple types of adaptor plate which are interchangeable Single, pre-wired connection from controller to drum. Just plug and play ability to site controller up to 4 metres away from the unit. The Status of controller is available via simple, high intensity, colour coded LEDs and a digital minute between washes display. Easily accessible water level sensors that can be adjusted to accommodate any situation
